سلطت مواقع أجنبية الضوء على منافسات انتخابات مجلس النواب 2020 في مصر، وصراع القوائم الساحنة.

وركزت المواقع الأجنبية على صراع القوائم بين قائمة الوطنية، والتي يعتبرها البعض القائمة التي تحظى بتأييد الدولة المصرية وبين قائمة المستقلين ويمثلها حزب أبناء مصر برئاسة المهندس مدحت بركات.

وقالت المواقع الأجنبية إن بركات رجل أعمال، وسياسي استطاع في الفترة الأخيرة أن يؤسس حزبا منذ أقل من سنة، لكنه نجح في الحصول على تأييد شعبي واسع، كما أنه شكل قائمة مستقلة لمرشحيه لخوض منافسات النواب في مواجهة القائمة الرسمية، ليعتبره الكثيرين رجل المفاجات في الانتخابات.

كما سلطت المواقع الضوء على محاولات تخريب مؤتمر حزب أبناء مصر الذي عقد في محافظة الشرقية مؤخرا لدعم قائمة الحزب، عبر افتعال مشادات، وتدخل بركات لانهاء الموقف واجهاضها.

After rising to the conference podium, Barakat said: "We came here today to speak to supporters and supporters of the Sons of Egypt party, and we advised our members and candidates to avoid talking in competitors conferences so that there would be no friction or sour statements"

Barakat added that despite this: "we enter into records, dialogues and political discussions as long as they take place within their respectful framework and the public interest and that the party's members and candidates are not drawn to the old methods of bullying or show of force because they are no longer useful as in the past".

The party leader stressed that at all conferences he with the rest of the leaders of the Sons of Egypt party, is interested in explaining the party’s goals and messages to the citizens because it is a nascent party, and despite that, it was born a giant, which raised the fear of some, such as those who pushed those figures to try to sabotage the conference.

Barakat said in his enthusiastic sermon: “The Sons of Egypt Party is against the National List and is not an ally to it, and we do not want chaos, and that this conference is for the Sons of Egypt Party, and everyone should take this into account".
